We take a thorough approach completing a comprehensive case history and examination to find out not only what is causing your pain but also what treatment is best for you and your condition based on the latest research and clinical guidelines.
You will get individualised treatment. We have a range of techniques at our disposal and utilise the best, most appropriate ones to suit you and your condition at the right time and then progress treatment as you get better. This ensures not only will be out of pain but also have a full recovery to try and ensure the pain does not return.
Chiropractors are primary care professionals which means you do not need to be referred by your GP. (although we do try and work closely with your GP and will often write to them with your permission) Chiropractors are trained to spot when we can’t help. In this situation we will refer you to a more appropriate healthcare professional rather than waste your time and money on inappropriate treatment.
You will be in the hands of a highly qualified health professional. To become a chiropractor it takes 4-5 years of full time university education. As well as completing his masters in Chiropractic our Chiropractor has also completed a post registration training scheme and a Post graduate certificate in clinical development as well as a host of other post graduate courses. He likes to keep up to date on the recent research and is always developing his skills to ensure he gives the best most up to date treatment to his patients.
As well as being registered with the General Chiropractic Council (as Chiropractic is a registered profession all Chiropractors are required to by law) Mark is also a member of the British Chiropractic Association as well a full member of the Royal College of Chiropractors.
Recent NICE guidelines for Low back pain suggest a course of manipulation, acupuncture or exercise all of which can be delivered by this clinic.
